Could green become the architectural colour of a Haussmann apartment?” It was the clients’ dream—on a tight schedule—and the brief they entrusted to Thomas Heagle.
“We had invested in a beautiful apartment with generous volumes—but no soul. Too many openings, too many ceiling drops. And a bold, risky desire: green, everywhere.”
For this creation, Thomas Heagle composes a powerful chromatic universe, silky textures and redrawn perspectives. From the very entrance, the interior architecture captivates the eye, then modulates emotion room by room—through noble materials, a calming palette and signature decorative statements: oxidised mirror, curated art and objets, emblematic furniture.
“This project hinged on mastered audacity. I proposed a strong chromatic world, silky textures and re-worked perspectives—adjusting partitions so each room could both breathe and impress.”
Artisans engaged: masons, joiners, cabinetmakers, glassmakers, upholsterers, decorative painters
Deadlines met: yes
Before — Magnificent volumes waiting to be re-awakened.
After — A vibrant Haussmannian interior: deep greens, multiplied perspectives, a fifth room created.
“Thomas is an alchemist of colour. Our Haussmannian home both soothes and transports us. Guests are mesmerised by the depth of our entrance, and our confidential office—unpublished in photos—has become a world of its own, with the English flair we love.”
